10 Days! Sat, July 12 through Tues, July 22, 2014
Optional whaleshark sidetrip, July 22
been running workshops for many years and this one will
be the biggest and best of them all with lots of fun,
prizes, photo pros and surprises! Here's
your chance to get all your photo questions answered
and improve your underwater photography skills.
Everybody is bringing cameras to capture
the beautiful reefs of Cozumel, but many don't really
know how to use them. This workshop is designed to
show you how to use your digital camera and get the
best shots possible when shooting underwater.
No camera is too big or too small! Not only is this
workshop a lot of fun, but
you'll learn all about how to improve your
underwater photography by shooting better and
improving on what you've captured by using
Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.

This will be Bonnie's 36th trip to Cozumel and she
knows where and how to find the best Cozumel has to
and can show you how to capture it with your camera. As an added bonus, Marty Snyderman will be joining Bonnie in conducting this workshop. Marty and Bonnie have worked together for many years teaching underwater photography online and through various workshops and seminars.
addition to the presentations, slide shows and seminars,
Bonnie and Marty will be available to dive with you each day.
We will set up a special photographer's
boat, so if you wish to dive with the rest of the
shooters, you are welcome to come along.
At the end of the event we'll
be having a photo contest with awards and prizes!
We will also be organizing a post-workshop 1-day trip to Isla Mujeres to snorkel with the whalesharks and mantas on July 22. If you wish to join this trip you will need to book one extra night at Scuba Club Cozumel and depart on Wednesday, July 23. Cost of the trip is about $200.
If your would like
to attend please contact
Bonnie to reserve your spot. We can not accept walk-ins
that have not
Bonnie in advance.
Course prerequisites: You
must be a certified diver with intermediate
to advanced diving skills to attend this workshop.
The coral reefs are very fragile, so we want
to be assured that you have your buoyancy under
control before you decide to dive with a camera.
If you are comfortable with your buoyancy but
haven't dived in a while and would like a refresher,
a course in buoyancy control will be available
through the dive shop on Saturday and/or Sunday
before the workshop begins. There is an extra
fee for this refresher course. Its highly recommended
if you're not comforable with your buoyance
while carrying a camera.
